The 2008 UHRSC Leadership Conference "Directing Success – Award-Winning Human Resources" was a huge success.

This year our leadership dinner honored our past state directors. We were privileged to hear from Randy Benson, a past state director. He provided great insights and wisdom on directing for success. Other state directors in attendance included Paul Bradley, Dave Hilbig and Cheryl Sasche. Our great organization has been built by all of our past and present volunteers. Thank you for what you have made UHRSC and SHRM in Utah.

Friday was an all day event. We were fortunate to have so many attend this year!

The goal of the conference was to give everyone the opportunity to
      Network with other successful and dynamic Human Resource
      professionals
      Feel the synergy of being part of Utah HR volunteer leaders
      Be recognized for dedication and impact to the HR movement
      Continue to develop your professional and leadership skills
      Be entertained and have FUN

The conference not only achieved those goals but exceeded them. We had the opportunity to hear from great speakers on Strategic HR, Leadership, Vision and Culture. The speakers were excellent!

The day also gave our volunteer leaders an opportunity to interact with one another. We had functional breakout session and chapter breakout session.
All of the sessions I attended were very helpful and help grow my network.

Then to top it all off we had ice cream sundaes. What a GREAT day!!!
